The Central High School Athletic Boosters want to send a note of thanks for attending, sponsoring and/or donating to the 17th Annual Jacob Frazier Memorial Golf Outing. As we have had a few weeks to reflect on the event, we feel fortunate to be a part of such a great community, happy to meet new friends and excited to be partnered with great organizations – the Illinois Military Relief Fund and the Tactical Air Control Party.
Tom, the cheerleaders and Ellie Neybert did a great job getting us started.
We had 68 balls to sell going into the day and sold all of them. We had a total of 89 golfers and 9 additional guest for dinner. Jim Frazier was very happy with the event and praised the Boosters for our support of the event. The soldiers from Jacob’s unit – Eric DuBois (Dooby), Cody Mongo (Mongo), Matt Denault (Deno), Ben Graser (Meat), Anthony Moreno (Dirty Mo), Tyler Herlihy (Lil’ Foot), and Jake Mullen (Snatch) all enjoyed the day and were some of the last people to leave the event. Some of the guys even came away with some hardware. They provided $1000 for the Jacob Frazier Scholarship which they raise from the guys in the unit.
