Varsity Boys Basketball
The Varsity team is 19-3.
They repeated as Central’s MLK Tournament Champions for the second year.
The team has two conference losses with 5 more conference games to play.
Senior night will be held on Friday, Feb. 24 against Woodstock North.
Zach Schutta is close to scoring 1,000 career points.
Regionals start Feb. 27 and 28.
Sophomore Boys Basketball
The Sophomore team is  15-5 overall and 6-1 in conference.
They have won 11 of their last 12 games and went 4-0 at Central’s MLK Tournament.
Freshman Boys Basketball
The Freshman team has a record of 4-17.
Had a rough start, but are playing much better after they got their first 2 wins at Central’s MLK Tourney.
Their last several games have been very close even though they haven’t gotten the W.
Thank You
The basketball program is very grateful to the Softball and Track teams for helping in the concession stands during the MLK Tournament.
Running two concession stands during this tournament required 55 volunteers to cover all the shifts of the 3 day tournament.
The Baseball, Poms and Cross Country teams also volunteered in the concession stand during home games in  the month of February.
Parents and athletes alike from these sports volunteered and hopefully had fun helping the Boosters raise money.
